Meet and Greet w/ Ashley Brooke

To say I was mildly excited when Ashley Brooke Designs announced a Meet & Greet at our local West Elm, would be an understatement. I've been obsessing over her stationary and coffee mugs for months now and the pop-up shop put me "over the moon" excited.
A friend and I decided to make a girls' night out of it, and had decided to have flatbreads and a glass of wine at Seasons 52 before heading to West Elm. We left work and somehow avoided all traffic on I-4 until Amelia St. (too good to be true). If you know the Orlando area, you know there is never a lack of traffic through downtown. As we got off at the exit, we could see the skies starting to turn black—pitch black. Traffic lights were swinging, piles of leaves were dancing in circles and the sky grew even darker.

We barely made it into the restaurant before the skies opened and it started to downpour. Thankfully, the hostess put us by the floor to ceiling glass windows that overlook the lake. We were able to see the storm unfold as we sipped our wine. Amazingly enough, we spent just enough time at dinner, that as we walked out, the rain was only a bit heavier than a sprinkle.

The storm seemed to have kept some people away, but it was so warm and cozy inside West Elm, that it didn't phase us one bit. A long table, had all the little extras for a perfect valentine. Another table held all of Ashley's mugs, stationary and t-shirts; a final table had all kinds of sweet treats set up.
Ashley is seriously the sweetest!
Ashley is so sweet and spent some time chatting with us as we shopped. Yes, that's her actual handwriting on the mugs, stationary and t-shirts. And yes, she is as adorably fashionable in real life as she is on her blog
How cute were these valentines?
I couldn't leave without the More Sugar mug, Brilliant Ideas notepad, and the Personality Print. I'm also seriously contemplating an online order to get both the Everyday I'm Hustlin' T and the Work It tank. Y'all seriously need to check her out!

Not a sponsored post.
I'm just a lover of all things Ashley Brooke.
