I really need to plan these outfit posts out better, so I'm not snapping headless selfies. Can you even call them selfies if your face isn't present? Deep questions on this Monday morning, I know.
My winter attire typically falls closer to the preppy side of the spectrum: plaid flannel button-downs, cable knits, chunky cowl neck sweaters, riding boots, etc. All very #whitegirlstatus if you ask me. This look, however, was very edgy, and I actually enjoyed shaking up my look. I've always worn these pieces separately, but never thought to put them all together at the fear of wearing something that's just not "me".
So, if you're anything like me, and constantly find yourself inside your wardrobe comfort zone, I dare you to step outside the box. You never know, you may enjoy life on the other side that you'll never go back again.
