The Perfect Blowout

Hair. I can totally do my own, but I'm horrible at doing other people's hair for them. I know just how hard I can pull and tug on my own head, but I always feel like I'm being to rough with others and yet I still don't have the tension in the hair I need to get any job done. I suppose this is why I'll never be a hairdresser.

Anyway, back to it. I've spent a long time perfecting the "perfect blowout" because I have long, thick hair and I always need a big round brush to even get my hair dry. Before I started keratin treatments, it would take me upwards of thirty minutes just to DRY my hair. A big PTL (praise the Lord) for keratin treatments because it's literally cut my dry time to a rough fifteen minutes.
Having the right brush in your arsenal is key to a great blowout. I've always used the largest round brush I could find, but the one I love from Target had its flaws. You see, after a few blowouts and all that heat pointing directly at the brush for fifteen minutes, the glue holding the brush cylinder to the handle of the brush would loosen and I'd wind up with half a brush in my hair and the handle in my hand. After a good dose of super glue later, I'd be back in working condition and no big deal. I just always thought that's how it was going to be for me.
Enter the Olivia Garden Heat Pro brush; I've been using this brush for a few weeks now and let me tell you—I'll never buy another brush from the drugstore again. Not only does my hair seem to dry even faster, but the brush is strong and durable. I haven't had to super glue it back together and I don't worry about breaking the brush with all my pulling and tugging. Plus, my hair has been even softer and shinier after I dry it. I truly can't say enough good things about this brush. It makes drying my hair so much easier and for me, that's a big deal!

After I'm done blow drying my hair, I go in real quick with my 2 inch Hot Tools curling iron and about ten minutes later, I'm fluffing and shooting some hairspray on my hair and walking out the door.

I just truly love this brush and wanted to share my opinions.
