The original Urban Decay, Naked palette was the first palette I couldn't live without, and since then they've constantly been my go-to for long-lasting, wearable shades for any occasion. I'm ecstatic to hear UD is launching brand new palette on July 8th (join waitlist here), which will focus on creating that highly sought after smoky eye we all love, but are scared to death to do on our own.
The UD Naked Smoky palette joins the ever popular line of Naked palettes, but this one is a bit different. The other palettes stuck to a common tone: bronze, taupe, rose gold, and matte neutrals. Whereas, this new palette has a range of different tones, as well as matte and shimmer shades. The shades are grouped by mattes and shimmers moving from lightest to darkest. So, all the darkest shades (both shimmer and matte) are grouped in the center of the palette.
No smoky eye can be achieved with just one brush, so UD has included a two-sided shadow brush to place color and smoke it out.
I can't wait to get my hands on this baby! What are your thoughts on the smoky palette and new grouping?
