Phew! To say I've been busy would be an understatement. Work is busy as we enter the "prep for Christmas" season (scary, I know). Weekends have been full of celebrations and parties. This past Friday night a few of us went to the Relevant Podcast 10 year anniversary live taping at Summit Church, here in Orlando. We had so much fun! I love listening to their podcast during the week, especially when I'm tired of everything on Spotify. They're hilarious! If you're interested, you can find the podcast on iTunes.
Aside from that, I'm about a week and a half out from turning 29 and I'm having some trouble accepting that I'm a year from 30. My list of things I wanted to do during my 20s is a scattered disaster of a hot mess, and I'm getting to the point where I don't care anymore. I'm a list making, plan ahead kind of person. My goal for 29 is to learn how to be a bit more spontaneous and just say "yes". In the wise words of Tina Fey:
Say yes and you'll figure it out afterwards.I've splurged on a few items I've always wanted, but never felt I should buy. Now, I just don't care, so I bought them and I'm loving them. More on that Wednesday though.
We shot this outfit while in North Carolina back in May. I loved the oversized 'blanket' (for lack of a better term) kimono for the cooler evenings up in the mountains. It kept me warm without being too thick.
