Location: Cecile's French Corner | Mount Dora, FL

Fall is typically the busiest time of year in my life. I say yes to every outdoor event I possibly can because it's finally gorgeous enough to be outside and not sweat, plus there's just so many things going on. With that though, my outfits need to play double-duty. On the weekends, I want to be able to go from Farmer's Market to drinks and dinner out, and not have to go through a whole lot of fuss to freshen up. With a few quick changes, pretty much any outfit that isn't Lululemon can go from day-to-night without any stress.

A military jacket and lace top are great multi-functioning pieces. You can literally dress both pieces up or down as you need them.
For the mornings I'm running around Mount Dora, I am always in comfy flats. We may not have mountains here, but we do have some pretty steep hills, and the historic district was meant to be done in flats. #truestory On top of that, I'm never without a cross-body. I love that I can look and touch and carry a coffee or snack from the bakery and not have to worry about juggling my purse too.

 To Night

If I come home between morning and evening outings, I tend to put on comfy clothes when I get back home. They are easy to move around in while doing laundry or blogging, but when it comes time to get ready for an evening out, I'm not usually wanting to put on another new outfit. The one from the morning was only worn a few hours, so I usually just change up my bag and shoes or any other little accessory pieces.
Right now, I'm obsessing over merlot colored everything—as always when fall rolls around. I love that I can work a pop of color in without it being over the top. Simple gem colored heels knock any outfit up a few notches. I also love a good clutch for nights out. Bars typically aren't designed to hold purses and I hate putting my on the ground and I hate trying to reach for it gracefully from my bar-height chair if I need something. Instead, a clutch sits nicely on your lap without being in the way or you can always drop it on the bar and it's not intrusive to the space.
