A Few Favorite Outfits from 2015

One \\ Two \\ Three \\ Four

Wow! I can't believe we're closing the chapter on 2015 already and moving into a new year. This year was filled with so many great memories in all aspects of my life. Were there bumps and bruises and difficult times along the way? Absolutely! I wouldn't be human if I didn't struggle with those things, and I know sometimes those difficult moments can get lost behind the lens—never to be seen by the public. That's okay, not everything is for public consumption anyway. I do want to say I've had an absolute blast in the blog world with y'all. I finally introduced weekly outfit posts, and while they take time—lots of time—I've had so much fun sharing my town, my travel spots, and a small piece of my life with y'all through these outfit posts.

If you've been around here for a while or not, I first introduced outfit posts in February of this year. You can see that first post here. Since then, I've gone on to try and post an outfit a week, which gets really tricky during the summer. It's anything but pleasant in Florida during the summer. We got creative though, and limited our time in the hot, humid, Florida summer heat as much as possible.

Honestly, after such a fun year, it was hard to narrow down to just four outfit posts, but here they are nonetheless. I feel like these four outfits perfectly describe my personal style, and maybe even my outlook on life in general (if we get really deep about clothes). I am definitely a jeans and t-shirt kind of girl with a touch of makeup to look alive and well rested (because let's face it, sometimes we're not well rested), but I also love dressing up, putting on my favorite red lipstick and a great pair of heels. When I can mix those two worlds together—like post four—I'm in my happy place. The ability to mix dressy me with casual me is about as fun as it gets!

I am so excited to see what 2016 has in store for all of us, and I wish you a very Happy New Year!
