Walt Disney World Polynesian Resort
On Saturday we headed out to the Polynesian for a family birthday brunch at the Kona Cafe, and had the best meal. There's nothing like a little touch of magic—Disney magic that is. If you've never been to the Polynesian, it's one of my favorite resorts on property. The theme is carried throughout the entire resort, and you literally feel like you're on a far away island—well, aside from all the Mickey Mouse ears of course. I went with a white skinny jean to hint at spring, and paired them with a darker plaid shirt since it's technically still winter. I thought the combination symbolizes the transition of seasons, and shows how you can get a bit more wear out of more winter type pieces.
I had been on the hunt for a good pair of navy heels since college (six years ago cough) and had never found any I loved. Low and behold, my favorite heel of all time, the INC Zitah pump at Macy's, now comes in Navy suede and they are perfection! I love how they pop against the white jeans, but they also provide the look of a longer leg when paired with dark wash skinny jeans.
