This outfit is so freakin' versatile, it's not even funny. Summer concerts are so popular in the south, and it usually involves an outdoor venue with lawn seating, which mostly equates to a lot of sandy dirt. Sandals aren't so great for those situations because you end up with jiffy store feet as my mom calls it—as in you'll literally have a black ring around your feet at the end of the night from all the dirt getting in your sandals. Booties are perfect for outdoor concerts because they keep your feet clean, and you can brush the sand off your boots at the end of the night.
Loose, flowy dresses are also great for summer concerts. First acts are usually on stage before the sun sets, with the headliner on stage after dark. So, you'll want the looser dress for the warmest part of the evening, and then can throw on a denim jacket when it starts to cool down.
