Instagram Roundup 03

I can't believe Christmas is over, and we're merely a few days away from 2017! I'll be honest, this year was rough—probably one of the hardest years I've had as an adult. I definitely won't be sad to see 2016 go, and I am so hopeful for the new year and all that it has in store.

Anyway, here's a peek at how the holiday season looked from my view point!

Booties | Sweater
I scored these Lucky Brand booties on sale from Nordstrom during their holiday sale, and I've literally worn them everyday since. I had my eye on them for a while, but didn't want to pay full price, so when I saw they were finally under $100—well, Merry Christmas to me! If you don't own shoes from Lucky Brand, you MUST get at least one pair. They all have a memory foam, cushy soft, foot bed and I can wear them for hours! I love their ballet flats too, which have the same cushy foot bed, and I've walked the entire downtown of Savannah in them without an issue.
Pineapple Dish | Candlefish Candle | Pencil Set
I would live in Anthropologie if they would let me or at least decorate my entire kitchen with their items because it's so gorgeous in there. I honestly never use Anthro for clothes, but I've found plenty of amazing decor pieces, candles and small gifts over the years. Whenever I need a gift, I head to Anthropologie first because they have so many one-of-a-kind items they are too cute for words. I obsessed over the gold pineapple tray for months, and finally got it during their 30% off sale. I also can't get enough of the Candlefish candles, and those adorable "writer" pencils are from Etsy.
Coffee Mug | Pencil Set | Tarteist Pro Palette | Pineapple Dish | Matchbook Set
All the holiday parties means smoky eyes from the Tarte Tarteist Pro palette. I love that most of the shades are a matte formula with only four shimmer shades. I feel like most palettes have way too many shimmer shades and not enough matte, so this one is right up my alley. The lasting power on these babies is fabulous too!
Eyeshadow | Eyeliner | Lipstick | Necklace
Among all the holiday get togethers, girls night is my absolute favorite. We go someplace fun, drink a few too many cocktails, share stories, talk boys, and exchange sweet treats. Literally, I leave with such a happy heart every time. I used the Tarteist pro palette (above) for this look, plus Kat Von D's tattoo liner, and NYX matte lip color in Copenhagen.
Toner | Midnight Serum | Hydro-Plumping Serum
In my previous skincare post, I mentioned a few new products I've started to use since turning 30. So, I'll skim the surface in this post, but you can read the full story here. I got a sample of the Sunday Riley Martian Toner with a Sephora order not that long ago, and fell in love with it. Not only does it smell amazing, but you squirt a half pump (a full pump is too much) into your hand and blend into your face—it's the most amazing toner ever. And you don't need cotton balls. The Kiehl's Midnight Recovery serum smells like a bed of lavender heaven, and my skin sucks it right up at the end of the night. Last, the Kiehl's Hydro-Plumping Re-texturizing Serum works wonders under my eyes!
I didn't have time to bake cookies for our girls night, sweet treat exchange this year, so I went with mini champagne and chocolate and it was a swinging success. Honestly, when doesn't champagne make a good gift?
