It's official! Tennessee is officially my second home.
Ever since I was a little girl, I've always wanted to live in the mountains and experience a full four seasons—easy on the snow though. Toward the end of last year, and really after turning 30 in September, the itch for change kicked into high gear.
I was born and raised in Central Florida, went to college in Boca Raton, and leaving my home state and family was honestly one of the hardest decisions I could have ever made. Their support and love is the only thing that pushed me toward this new adventure.
It's amazing to see how God works, and makes the way for His will. In 30 years, I don't think I've ever seen His hand so strong in my life as I have these past few weeks. I know I'm in the right place. Yet, at the same time I feel like I'm being stretched—personally. I know that's part of the process and I know this is another time of growth for me.
Needless to say, I am so excited to be here. I can't wait to get some furniture for the living room area (I'm currently sitting on an air mattress, which is functioning as a daybed) and some bar stools for the kitchen island. Other than that, this little apartment of mine is coming together. The kitchen took on a pineapple theme, which is so perfect since the pineapple is the symbol of hospitality.

I can't wait to start sharing more home decor style posts as soon as this place starts coming together more. Until then, I'll probably be shifting back to beauty and lifestyle posts a bit more since my outfit photographer (my Momma) is in Florida. I am so excited to share this new city and second home with y'all!
